Creative Expression is a theatre and music project that explores the experiences of young refugees and asylum seekers in the UK
Thanks to funding from Arts Council England, Children in Need and The Ogelsby Charitable Trust we're working with a group of young refugee and asylum seekers.
Through workshop sessions we will explore their experiences in the UK and their native countries using theatre and music. The young collaborators will work alongside professional artists to shape the often over-shadowed narratives of their families’ stories of exile.
The project will culminate with a series of cross-art performances in October.
Join our sessions
We're looking for young participants aged 7 to 13+ to join our fully funded creative sessions. The sessions take place on Saturdays and the school holidays, starting from May.
