Freelance Dance Artists
We are looking to engage with dance artists who want to develop and build their portfolio of work. You will work with women and families that are seeking sanctuary from persecution and harm and who are interested in cultural Dance styles from Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East, and creative movement.
This role will be
-
Delivering hourly dance sessions in many different settings

Support and training, if needed, from Afrocats lead dancer

Working closely with families, women and youth who are both new or have experience in dance
We are looking for someone who is

Friendly, patient and approachable, with lots of energy

A good communicator with people who speak little or no English

Available on weekends and unsociable hours

Willing to grow with Afrocats

Who will complete an enhanced DBS check
You will spend approximately 4 half days per month supporting our work.
We’d like someone to start as soon as possible with availability through to the end of December.
Interviews will be held on a rolling basis and will be with Magdalen Bartlett, Afrocats CEO.
The fee will be £25+p/h based on experience and negotiation.
