Through community consultation, we develop creative activities, professional development and volunteering opportunities for young people, women, and families.

 

We collaborate with leading organisations to empower individuals and families, cultivating improved well-being, better self-esteem, and exciting opportunities for a successful future.

Our timetable 

All Afrocats sessions run from 10am to 12pm and are based in Manchester. If you’d like to get involved, take part, or refer someone, please email info@afrocats.org.uk.

Commission our workshops

We work with schools, groups and organisations across Greater Manchester to deliver creative workshops that help young people and adults discover culture, creativity and resilience.

Consultancy and training

We use our expertise to support organisations through consultancy and training. We can provide a range of services, including:

  • Creating diverse interview panels

  • Developing inclusive programmes 

  • Bespoke frameworks for your work

Our specialist training for effective engagement will support you to improve equity, diversity and inclusion.

Mentoring

We use our knowledge and expertise to mentor early career and diverse artists so they can develop their creative practice.
