Youth of the World is our programme of work for young people so they can broaden their horizons.

We work with children and young people aged 8 to 18 who do not have access to activities and education support. Without this young people have low aspiration and limited future employment opportunities. We have expertise of working with:

  • Refugees and asylum seekers

  • Home-schooled young people

  • Young people from low wage households

Current projects

28

young people are currently supported through Youth of the World programmes

85%

from Black, Asian, minority ethnic, refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds (BAMER)

10%

of young participants are home schooled

5%

of young people are first-generation British from BAMER communities

Creative Expression

An Arts Council England funded project to explore the experiences of refugee and asylum seeker young people in the UK and their native countries.

Our Covid response

We've supported children and young people throughout the pandemic with online activities, data packages and technology

Creative packs

Thanks to funding from the Duchy Fund we're going to provide 18 creative packs so our young people can take part in 3 online workshops.
