Spring has sprung for Afrocats

This time of year, daffodils and sunshine start peeking through - and the Afrocats and kittens are back at it with a burst of springtime energy on our amazing Youth of the World programme.

Our diverse young people made tons of spring and Easter-themed decorations in time for our parent showcase, where they will have the chance to display the arts and crafts that they’ve made over the course of this term.

Even our team members Edel, Estee, and Shamim got stuck in with oodles of animal and fish doodles, and crafting adorable chickadees.

Meanwhile, Hannah not only made an amazing split-pin chick and earring holder, but also went hell for leather in an attempt at a Guinness World Record for the world’s longest paper chain! Assisted of course by the talented Mayssaa – who even had her own Creation Station this week.

As you can see, it’s not just our young people with tons of creative skills, it’s our team as well, so big up to everyone for diving into making and shaking on session – our programme wouldn’t be what it is without you.

Have a look below at what everyone got up to!
